MALANG – Lembaga resiliensi bencana yang biasa dikenal dengan MDMC (Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center) Kabupaten Malang mendorong lahirnya relawan untuk tanggap kemanusiaan.
Harapan ini muncul dalam kegiatan rakerda Pimpinan Daerah Muhammadiyah (PDM) Kabupaten Malang, di Masjid AR Fachruddin UMM, Ahad (29/10/2023). Dalam kesempatan ini, MDMC juga memaparkan program-program unggulan.
“Salah satu yang harus kita dukung bersama dalam pelaksanaan program kami, adalah aitannya dengan One Muhammadiyah One Response atau OMOR, untuk tanggap bencana dan kemanusiaan,” demikian Zulfikar Muhammad, S.Kep., Ners, M.Kep, selaku Ketua MDMC Kabupaten Malang, Ahad (29/10) siang.
Program OMOR ini, lanjutnya, mengingat potensi bencana yang berada di Kabupaten Malang. Dan, dengan itu pihaknya juga mendorong adanya jiwa kerelawanan kader Muhammadiyah yang bisa bergabung dalam misi kemanusiaan tersebut.
“Mohon sedianya, PCM mau bersinergi untuk menyiapkan relawan di daerah masing-masing, sebagai tim assessmen awal, agar lebih mudah dan cepat kita mendengar dan segera merespons ketika terjadi bencana. Ini sekaligus mendorong kaderisasi relawan kebencanaan di wilayah masing-masing,” ungkap Zulfikar.
Rakerda Pimpinan Daerah Muhammadiyah Kabupaten Malang juga diawali materi Capacity Building Ideopolitor. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh seluruh Pimpinan Majelis dan Lembaga Muhammadiyah kabupaten Malang beserta perwakilan dari Pimpinan Cabang Muhammadiyah se-kabupaten Malang.
Kegiatan rakerda kali ini terbagi dalam lima komisi yang di dalamnya terdapat perwakilan dari seluruh PCM se-kabupaten malang. Usai pemaparan program oleh Seluruh Pimpinan Majelis dan Lembaga Muhammadiyah Kabupaten Malang, dilanjutkan diskusi dan tanggapan beberapa pertanyaan sesuai kondisi PCM yang ada di wilayah kabupaten Malang.
