Direktur Pesantren Entrepreneur Muhammadiyah (PEM) di Gondanglegi. M. Pahri, S.Ag. MM menyatakan, guru Muhammadiyah harus ‘TOBAT’, menginsafi hanya sebagai penikmat konten media sosial.
Pesan ini disampaikannya, di hadapan 65 guru Muhammadiyah Kabupaten Malang, saat kegiatan Diklat Jurnalistik, Ahad (22/10/2023).
Diklat kepenulisan ini diselenggarakan Pesantren Entreprenur Muhammadiyah (PEM) Gondanglegi, bekerjasama dengan PWMU.CO, dan bertempat di Mini Hall Mutu Edutel Gondanglegi.
Pahri berharap, dari diklat ini peserta menjadi produsen konten media sosial, dan bisa mencerahkan dunia pendidikan dengan berita yang positif dan edukatif.
Di kesempatan ini, Direktur Pesantren Entrepreneur Muhammadiyah (PEM) di Gondanglegi ini ingin membombardir guru Muhammadiyah Kabupaten Malang menjadi pengawal kemajuan literasi.
“Jangan sampai sekolah Muhammadiyah menjadi sekolah yang sunyi. Jika seperti ini, bisa menyebabkan tenggelam dan siap-siap saja mati dalam pertarungan kemajuan zaman,” kata Pahri menyemangati peserta.
Menurutnya, saat ini kita hidup pada era dimana semua informasi mudah didapatkan dalam waktu yang cepat. Karena itu, lanjutnya, Perguruan Muhammadiyah sebagai instansi pendidikan juga harus produktif dalam memanfaatkan arus informasi digital.
M Pahri juga menambahkan, sejatinya dunia tulis menulis adalah dunianya guru
“Seorang guru harus bisa menulis, namun demikian dalam berbagai penelitian guru yang produktif menulis amatlah sedikit,” tandasnya.
Mohammad Nurfathoni, Pemimpin Redaksi PWMU. COM dalam memberikan materi jurnalistiknya menekankan, secara spesifik bahwa berita harus akurat, menarik, faktual, dan lengkap.
Ia menekankan, menulis atau membuat konten di internet sangatlah penting, seperti untuk mengenalkan sekolah. Dengan demikian, ini mengingatkan pada nitizen atau masyarakat bahwa sekolah kita masih ada. Dan, brand sekolah kita tetap melekat di hati masyarakat.
“Menulis harus tetap digulirkan untuk memberikan inspirasi kepada sekolah lain. Menulis adalah menginspirasi,” tandasnya.
Lebih lanjut, ia juga sedikit mengaitkan pengalamannya sebagai pemimpin redaksi, setiap berita diusahakan dapat memberikan pencerahan, bukan hoax.
Salah satu peserta pelatihan, Helena Kartikasari mengungkapkan, dengan adanya kegiatan tersebut saya pribadi menjadi lebih tahu tentang dunia tulis-menulis dengan kaidah jurnalistik. Seperti, tips membuat judul yang baik dan mendapatkan ide-ide dalam membuat berita menggunakan berbagai macam sudut pandang.
“Saya menantikan kedepannya kegiatan serupa tetap digelar agar ilmu yang diperoleh dapat diaplikasikan dengan lebih baik lagi,” ungkapnya.
Pelatihan sangat menarik karena di setiap sesi selalu ada aksi praktik dan kuis untuk menyegarkan suasana pelatihan sehingga jadi selalu menyenangkan.Acara ini diakhiri dengan tugas menulis berita kegiatan pelatihan jurnalistik tersebut. (*)
