MALANGMU.COM – PEM Gondanglegi (Pesantren Entrepreneur Muhammadiyah) menggagas program untuk melahirkan santri milenial mendunia.
Mudir PEM Gondanglegi Malang, HM Pahri, mengungkapkan, gagasan pendidikan unggul berbasis pesantren ini bakal diwujudkan dalam kurun waktu beberapa tahun ke depan dalam Rapat Kerja Pesantren Entrepreneur Muhammadiyah Gondanglegi, Selasa (12/7/2022).
”Hari ini kita buat road map untuk mewujudkan pendidikan santri milenial mendunia di pesantren Muhammadiyah ini. Semua kita libatkan untuk bersinergi, berkolaborasi serta saling menguatkan dan membesarkan,” kata M Pahri .
Santri mendunia, dia menjelaskan, cirinya antara lain menguasai bahasa asing, teknologi digitalisasi, dan punya kecakapan hidup (life skills) yang bermanfaat bagi kehidupannya.
Pahri mengungkapkan, bahasa asing yang harus dikuasai santri Pesantren Muhammadiyah Gondanglegi adalah bahasa Arab, Inggris, juga bahasa Jepang. Di pesantren Muhammadiyah ini juga punya pengajar lulusan Universitas Turki dan Jepang.
”Soal pendidikan agama sudah wajib dan otomatis, ya. Nah, semua nilai plus santri milenial ini yang nanti kita garap. Selain bisa kuliah ke luar negeri, santri lulusannya nanti juga harus kuat dan mandiri,” tandas ketua Forum Guru Muhammadiyah nasional ini.
Dia juga menerangkan, para santri PEM Gondanglegi juga harus dibekali kompetensi teknologi informasi. Kemampuan ini sekaligus untuk menunjang keahlian lain, khususnya bidang agroekonomi berbasis digitalisasi.
Dalam perencanaan road map ini, sambung dia, pengasuh dan pihak yang terlibat langsung di pesantren juga diperkuat dengan kuliah penting. Seperti materi spirit pendidikan unggul dan berkemajuan oleh Dr H Nurul Humaidi, dosen Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang.
Kuliah lainnya tentang manajemen pelayanan prima untuk kepuasan publik oleh Dr Mulyana, Ketua Majelis Pustaka PWM Jawa Timur.
Pesantren Entrepreneur Muhammadiyah Gondanglegi bakal berdiri di atas lahan seluas 1,6 hektare. Daya tampung hingga 1.000 santri.
