MALANGMU.COM – Beberapa hari terakhir, keseriusan dan antusiasme begitu tampak pada pelajar SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Donomulyo (SMK Muhendo).
Mereka tengah sibuk bersama-sama membuat properti dan aksesoris baju adat.
Baju adat yang dipilih, adalah khas Papua dan Bali. Berbagai bahan dikumpulkan. Tujuannya untuk menambah keunikan dengan menonjolkan kekhasan tradisi budaya dua daerah tersebut.
Bahan-bahan yang dikreasi, seperti ikat kepala dari bulu ayam, ikat pinggang dari busa hati hitam, serta rumbai-rumbai dari tali rafia untuk pakaian adat Papua.
Sedangkan, untuk aksesoris pakaian Bali, dibuat mahkota dari busa hati. Mahkota ini lalu dicat warna emas untuk putri, dan berbentuk udeng untuk putra.
Waka Sarana dan Prasarana SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Donomulyo, Sukamto mengungkapkan, berbagai aksesoris pakaian adat tersebut dibuat sendiri oleh peserta didik SMK Muhendo. Ini sekaligus untuk mengaplikasikan materi P5 yang telah diperoleh.
“Anak-anak buat sendiri sekreatif mungkin, ini yang menarik,” jelasnya kepada malangmu.com.

Dengan dibuatnya sendiri aksesoris tersebut, lanjutnya, peserta didik menumbuhkembangkan kreativitas dan inovasi, serta menguatkan kerjasama dan saling menghargai diantara peserta didik.
Dikatakan, aksesoris kekhasan budaya pada pakaian adat Bali dan Papua ini, sebagai persiapan kegiatan Kirab Budaya Nusantara Donomulyo, 2 September 2023 mendatang. Nantinya, semua tim siswa SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Donomulyo akan memakainya saat karnaval tersebut.

Supaya penampilannya nanti bisa maksimal, kata Sukamto, para pelajar juga berlatih koreografi tari budaya Bali, tari budaya Papua. Juga, tarian reog Ponorogo dan tarian Jathil.
Keterampilan di bidang seni budaya peserta didik SMK Muhendo ini, melengkapi kompetensi keahlian bidang teknik otomotif, teknik komputer dan pengolahan hasil pertanian yang dimiliki. Termasuk pula, kompetensi olahraga seperti lari maraton, bola voli, sepak bola serta bela diri Tapak Suci. (*)
